Crafting on my Cricut Maker machine is a favorite past time of mine. I run a small side business called Mugs by Pie where I create and sell custom mugs using my Cricut Mug Press.
PAGE or the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education is a yearly conference I have been attending since 2021. As a former gifted education student, gifted education holds a special place in my heart. During my time at Commonwealth University in Bloomsburg, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant studying post-secondary gifted education. Over the course of the 2022-2023 school year, I began pursuing my own research project regarding gifted education.
Graphic design has always been an interest of mine. Originally, I attended RIT in Rochester, NY in hopes of obtaining a degree in graphic design. While I am no longer pursuing that degree I believe that the skills I was taught in a variety of design programs as well as my creativity will help me to create a positive classroom experience.
GSA is an organization that I have been involved in since the first grade. In Fall of 2020, I began my first year as a Daisy Girl Scout Leader in Pennsylvania, becoming a Brownie and Daisy leader in the Fall of 2021. From my childhood years to now I have always valued the important skills in collaborating and leadership I have learned being a part of this organization.
Scuba diving is a passion of mine that I have unfortunately been unable to explore since moving to Pennsylvania in 2018. However, I have been a DAN certified scuba diver since 2011. My favorite dive was on a cruise through the Caribbean where I was able to participate in my first warm water dive in St. Thomas.
